"Did Grandpa really make her sign the divorce papers?" Tina turned to her assistant, Jill.
"Mr. Reid Senior gave her a ten-million-dollar cheque and asked her to sign it. I saw the contents of the divorce myself. There's no mistake," Jill mused.
"So she's going to move out of here?" Tina snickered.
"It'll probably happen in the next two days." Jill nodded.
Tina snorted. "Then what are we waiting for? Without her title as Clark's wife, no one would care if she died."
Dark clouds slowly rolled over Tocham's sky. According to the weather forecast, a storm was brewing.
By the time Judy returned to the house, it was already dark outside.
"Madam, why do you look so pale?" The maid was worried.
"It's nothing. I just want to rest." Judy felt completely drained, having exhausted all her energy during the two-hour drive back.
