What is he doing here?

I asked myself.

"Hey Audrey" The friendly girl I met earlier came over to me and said.

"Hi" I said to her.

"I almost did not recognise you with the shirt and bun hair style" She said and I chuckled.

"You are welcome here " She said.

Yeah, I know right, I'm welcome to Wearous Estate, Wearous High School and here too, ERR restaurant.

"I'm looking for..,I.. I mean who is Vivian? " I asked her.

"Oh, I am Vivian"

"Mrs Blakeston said I should meet with you, so you will tell me what to do and how? "

"Ok, it's not a big deal" She said.

She began to explain : "That guy over there, he just walked in a minute ago, go to him and ask him for what he wants. Make sure you don't forget his orders, then you go the Chefs and Cooks, They'll give it to you in a tray then you'

Audrey's POV

"500 bucks for one night" He said.

What? What is he talking about?

I walked away from him quickly and I heard him making a broken laughter.

"Chill dear" Vivian said to me. I've not even told her what happened but she seems to understand.

"Vi..vivan" I stammered her name.

"I'll be right back" She said and she walked towards the man..while I just stood there and watched them.

Audrey's POV

I got home feeling so stressed, I ate dinner, gave mom the money I earned today and she gave part of it for my own use.

After eating dinner, I had a quick shower and went to my room to sleep immediately. As stressed out as I was, I could bring out a book and study it today.

The Next Morning

I walked into the already familiar classroom..

"Good morning Kyle" I said to him even before getting to his seat.

I heard someone smirking, it was that handsome Jerk and those dumb girls were with him - whatever.

"Hey Audrey! " Kyle said to me and I rushed to meet him in his seat- our seats.

"Audrey" Elena called my name.

Oh, she was with him.

"Hi Elena" I said to her.

She was on my seat but when I came closer, she stood up, smiled awkwardly at me then returned to her seat.

"How was your night? " Kyle asked me.

"It was stressful " I answered and he laughed.

"Yeah seriously, the restaurant I worked at yesterday left me with less energy which made my sleep so stressful" I said.

"Oh! speaking of the restaurant, do you like it? Did you make friends? " He asked.

I smiled:"Well, I met nice people" I told him, suddenly I remember that man "But... "

"But what? "

"Hmm never mind. How was yours, your night? " I asked now sitting comfortably and trying to change topic.

"Mine? As usual" He replied coldly.

"And guess what??" I wanted to tell him that the so called wealthiest student in the school came to buy food at the restaurant... Just when I was about to tell him, the jerk interrupted me.

"Will you two be silent?! Your voices are jingling like bells in my ears and it's making my head - ache? " Simon yelled, beating his table as he stood up angrily.

But we weren't noisy and even if we were, he is the only complaining, this guy is something else.

"Shut your mouth up! " Kyle yelled at him then stood up too.

Smiled smirked: "Shut yours first" He said, ready to fight.

"Oh baby, calm down" The three girls - the one with a red hair said.

They held him down trying to stop him from fighting Kyle.

"You see, you are nothing but a cat with three kittens" Kyle said.

Whao! That was an hard one.

So..Simom is a cat and these three rubbish girls are the kittens.

He smirked again as he kicked his table.

"There would be another day for this, keep buzzling around" Simon said lastly then he sat down back on his seat while the girls arranged his table for him and began to pet-romance his head and chest. While they did that, he just sat there like a furious king.

This guy is really quarrelsome.

"Kyle" I called him when he didn't sit too rather than to continue staring at Simone with a look to kill... To kill?

"Kyle, it's okay" I said then he finally stopped looking at him and he sat down too.

During the recess period, We went to the school cafeteria together; Kyle, Elena and I..And Kyle was still looking so furious.

Can't he just forgive and forget? It's not too difficult to do so.

I didn't have much money to buy an adequate snacks or food, so I ordered for only a sausage but Elena, being a very rich girls bought more sausages for Kyle and I and some drinks too.. She indeed is a rich girl. I didn't want to receive the snacks at first but after so much persuasion and hasitations, I finally did.

"Elena, I told you to stop buying me snacks and any other thing" Kyle finally spoke.

"Come on, please... It's part of my... " She paused: "Ok, this would be the last time" She said and Kyle didn't say anything.

I wanted to sit next to Kyle but Elena came in between us.

"Kyle you are still looking so upset and uptight" She said.

"Is it still because of what happened between you and Simon? " I asked.

"Of course, Kyle and Simon are worst enemies" Elena said.

"What? "

"Well, ever since Kyle came to our school, Simon hated him..Infact, they hate eachother very much. They are always quarrelling and fighting over little things..."

"Oh" I mouthed.

Elena wanted to continue but Kyle cut in sharply.

"Shut it Elena and let's eat" He said and took an hungry and angry bite from his sausage.

Soon, his opponent, Simon walked into the cafeteria, passed by us and took a seat next to ours, there weren't only the three girls with him but nine other girls were surrounding him. Oh My God! And this girl aren't our classmates.

Obviously, the reason he had so many entourages is because his financial status - very wealthy and famous.

I watched him buy drinks and so many snacks for them all.. Wow! It's so good to be too wealthy but unfortunately, this - much wealth is for someone as grumpy as he is? It's such a waste.

"Audrey" Kyle called my name.

Oh my goodness, I was so engrossed with staring at him (Simon) , not because of the way he lavishes his money or girls but- his look and those charming features got me hooked.

"Audrey, do you wanna be part of them? " Kyle asked me.

"Ugh? " I don't understand what he meant.

"Do you wanna be part of those girls he is spending money on? " He asked again.

"Oh, no no" I stammered.

"Then why are you staring at him gawkily and like that? " He asked somehow-jealously.

Jealous? Does he hate Simon that much that he doesn't even want me to stare at him?

"Just because" I just said.

"Oh Kyle dear, you should try to settle your differences with Simon" Elena said but Kyle scoffed and said. : "It's the last thing, I'll ever do on earth"

With what he just said, I don't need anyone else to tell me how much he hates Simon but why is it too much?

"Audrey, if you wanna be his friend, then you can go ahead and stop moving with me" Kyle said as he stood up and left the canteen.

Huh? Wh..what?

I tried to call him but he ignored me.

Is this a complete definition of Jealousy or hatred?

"Elena, what's wrong? why is he suddenly like this? "

"Uhm, I don't know" She said..

I quickly stood up too and ran after him..maybe I'm the one bringing up troubles.

I tried to talk to Kyle being my seat partner, someone who has always wanted to be my friend ever since I just came. He was so kind and easy going, so what's happening now?

Just because I stared at the person he hates the most, he is giving me silent treatment. Why?

Besides, why was I staring at Simon?

He is so rude and grumpy, am I supposed to have a crush on him? I think I'm crushing on him actually.. Like I've said before, that's just me.. One who always have multiple crushes.

"Kyle" I said to him when school dismissed.I think I heard Elena offering to give him a ride in her car but he refused.

We walked home together yesterday, we should do the same today.

When I called his name, he only looked at me like he was going to say something but he didn't, he just turned back and left ahead of me.

Like seriously? He is keeping malice with me?

Why?

This is beyond Simon, it's something else.

I said Bye to Elena whom was watching the whole thing between Kyle and I.

So I walked down the lane all lonely and quietly.

I really miss my new friend, Kyle.

I was so lost in thought when I paper hit me.

'Uh, take that" A muscular voice said, it was Simon in his big car and he threw a paper at me through the window.

It's high time I stop crushing on him b'cos he's an heartless guy.

And what about the other one, the one giving me silent treatment. Do I not also have feelings for him too?

I felt water dropping on me.. Oh My God, it's drizzling..so I got to get into the restaurant before I'll be drenched by the rain.

"Oh, you are here and you came abit late" Vivian said to me.

I nodded mindlessly and walked sluggishly to drop my bag and change my cloths. Kyle is really affecting me really badly.

"There are only few customers today b'cos of the rain is about to fall and more people won't be able to come" Vivian said to me when I returned downstairs.

"Oh" I just muttered.

I'm not even concerned or worried about the number of customers here... My whole mind was on Kyle.

There's this feeling one feels when someone is staring at you too much, I'm feeling that way now.. I turned to see who it was, it was him, that pervert, Gary or what name did Vivian call him yesterday.

Is he insane? I signaled to him that i was gonna punch him but the idiot smiled and bit his lips.

I looked around in search for who to attend to but there was none, Felix just attend to the last person.

I went to sit at that enclosed corner and began to think of how to get along with Kyle again, seriously, I don't know what I've done so wrong to him.

"Hello babe" I heard a male voice standing in front of me -say.

I looked up to see who it was.

Felix.

"Don't call me babe" I said and he smiled and sat beside me.

"Is anything wrong Audrey? You look so worried and heartbroken" He said.

I gasped, Heartbroken?

"Did you have a fight with your boyfriend?" He asked me.

"Boyfriend? No... He is just a friend, I met him just yesterday and we became really close. Somehow, something happened today, no nothing happened" I paused: "but he is so angry with me" I briefly explained to him.

"Your... Crush" Felix said and I hit him hard on his shoulder.

I'm not crushing on him right? Or am I?

"No" I blurted feeling uncomfortable.

"Haha, I caught you. Don't deny it, you like the guy if you don't, you won't feel this way at all" Felix laughed at me and instantly, I regretted telling him.

"Do you want me to help? " He finally asked.

"No" I rolled my eye at him and moved away from him. He adjusted to where I sat, mistakenly placing his palm on mine and my heart beat faster. I looked up at him his eyes were so cute with one sweetest smile ever. Oh My, he is so handsome too.

Don't forget I told you I do crush on so many guys.

"I can see you two are flirting" Vivian came and said.

I quickly took my hand off his "Vi...vian" I stammered.

"Um, I came to tell you that your classmate, the wealthy but rude one is here. I don't wanna attend to him and Felix too, he prefers to attend to the female customers. So it's over to you" Vivian said to me.

Ok, I stood up and walked to where the customers were having their meal.

I had to search for him with just my eyes and I found him, his table is far away from where he sat yesterday.

Oh My God, Simon. He looks so handsome. More handsome when he's not putting on a uniform.

While I was still standing there and staring at him, he caught me doing so...and he began to stare back at me too.
