Chapter 33 A Small Accident

Cordelia walked back into the house and found Daniel and Stella huddled over their phones, posting on Instagram. They had encountered a charming celebrity, and of course, it was Instagram-worthy. "Oh my god, Joseph actually posted our photos on Twitter and said he had a great time barbecuing with friends! Ah... Joseph, I love you so much!" Stella exclaimed and jumped up with excitement. Daniel, holding his phone, was moved. "This photo already has a million likes. Joseph is so down-to-earth. I thought he was just taking pictures with us to go through the motions." Cordelia couldn't bring herself to tell them the truth. Joseph was a cunning guy. He might be using them to boost his fans' favorability. She packed up her laptop and related materials. Thomas walked over, hands in his pockets, sounding lazy. "Cordelia, you're close with him?" "Not as close as you and I are," Cordelia replied casually. A faint smile appeared on Thomas's face, like the moonlight at night, pure and clear.
