Chapter 122 Joseph's Offer
"Goliath, why are you chewing on this piece of paper?"
Cordelia pulled it out and rushed into the study, only to find the divorce agreement reduced to a piece of waste lying on the floor.
Seeing her come in, Benedict spoke with an air of casual indifference, "Goliath suddenly went berserk. I couldn't stop him."
Normally, Goliath feared him the most. One glance from Benedict and Goliath would behave. Whether he couldn't stop him or didn't want to, he knew it well!
Cordelia looked at the ruined document helplessly. "Then I'll print another copy."
"I've gone through that agreement. The format is off, and many clauses are incorrect. I'll have the lawyer draw up a new one." Benedict's voice was chilly as if he wanted to get this over with quickly.
Cordelia could only acquiesce. "Fine. When do you think it'll be ready?"
Benedict's tone remained detached, devoid of any extra emotion. "I'll let you know when it's done. Until it's signed and effective, you're still my wife."
