"I don't know if I could still trust you, David. You keep saying that you're not going to hurt me, but you just killed that woman. And in broad daylight at that. I didn't want to believe the rumors and the bad reputation that vampires had ever since but I guess all those things I heard about you were true."
David looked like he got hurt by my words. "Don't judge me just like that, Ariella. That woman was just a random human being. They’re insignificant. And we feed on them, as you already know."
"That's what I meant!" I told him angrily. "You kill innocent people! So how the hell would I trust you? Tell me, do you kill and feed on every single person that comes here? Is that what's happening here?" And then I gasped loudly when I realized something. "Oh my God. This place wasn't really a haven for serial killers, was it? This was a vampire's lair all along! You just hid the truth and lied so that you wouldn't get exposed to the humans!"
