Chapter 42 LUCAS POV I had constantly been waiting outside her work place and hoping to catch her alone but that wasn't forth coming. I noticed she was always dropped in a different car. It was tinted so I couldn't tell who it was. I'd wait for her to come out only for her secretary to show up as soon as she steps out. It's been like that for some days now. Who could be dropping her so often? Could it be that... I'm I too late? Nah! That can't be possible. She loves me too much to have moved on so quickly with someone else. Just then, I saw her car pull into the parking lot. She got out of the car and started walking towards the main door. "Sophia!" I called as I walked towards her. She quickly picked up her pace in order to avoid me but I kept pace with her. "How are you doing?" I asked. She didn't answer but instead turned and walked away. I called out to her again as she was walking and this time she turned around. "What do you want from me Lucas?" she sai
