"Leo!" A woman's voice called out from behind. I turned around and saw her running towards me with a smile on her face.
"Mira!" I called back, but instead a different name left my lips.
"Callista, I thought you wouldn't come," other words that he didn't utter left his mouth.
"I'm sorry I was late, I had to run some errands," she explained shyly, and scratched the back of her neck. My heart fluttered at her simple actions.
I lowered my head to hide my reaction and sat on the log lying near us and she sat right beside me.
"What is it?" She asked. "Why did you call me here?"
My mind stopped working at her question. I could even hear my heart beating loudly inside my chest because of nervousness.
I've been preparing myself for this for days. I've been mustering all my courage and encouraging myself to do this, but I was still tongue-tied.
My mind was in haywires and I can't focus on anything. I feel like I'm embarassing myself in front of her.
