He took my papyrus and the reed from me. He dipped the reed on ink and altered my drawing. He made a few changes here and there and showed me the final result. "The design of the dagger would have to depend on the spell," he explained pointing out the designs that I drew and he blacked out.
"In order to apply the spell on the weapon, I would have to use symbols or what we call runes. It makes the chants of the spell stay and if the runes were removed from the weapon, it will lose it's spell too. I would need to carve the runes on the handle itself to avoid that."
I nodded my head slowly while he speaks. I thoroughly understand what he's saying.
"For the weapon, I will have to hire a blacksmith for that and tell him your specifications. I can only do the spell not the weapon." He looked at me waiting for any objections about the matter.
"I understand," I muttered.
He stood making me look up at him. "Your majesty, I want you to see the room where I do my work so you could understand."
