Chapter 41 Dressing Wound

I let my anger and frustration get the best of me when dealing with Amos.
God knew the panic I was in when I heard the commotion outside. I rushed out, and instead of hearing their cheers of victory, I saw injured men being carried into the tent.
I searched for Ares in a hurry and was relieved to see him sitting up straight on the horse.
Upon entering the tent, I heard Amos bossing Mars around to get priority treatment.
Mars gave him a look of disdain and tended to the more severely injured soldiers.
“Mars! I’m the prince of the Sirian Empire. You should treat me first.”
Amos sounded full of energy. If he wasn’t black and blue in the face, he didn’t seem like he needed medical attention.
“Why are you screaming? If he makes another peep, just grab the needle and stitch his mouth up, Aimee.”
Amos really got on my nerves, so I rummaged through the medical kit for the needle. I had no idea what the needle was for. “Should I use the thickest needle?”
