He raised his voice and scanned over the crowd as if looking for someone important.

His complexion was ashen and his body swayed a little, not that Clara, who was smiling and looking up at him from below the stage realized the small movement. Annie, however, from afar, her face shrouded in the shadows, squinted and her pupils contracted at the sight.
