Chapter 62
Sara’s POV
“Has he contacted you yet?” Genevieve asks me, meeting my gaze in the car’s rearview mirror.
I shake my head and checked my phone for possibly the hundredth time in the past hour. I’m in the car with Genevieve and Richard, heading to the community centre. That’s where the duel between Levi and Victor is scheduled to happen this afternoon.
There’s one problem, though.
None of us have seen or heard from Levi since this morning.
He has been leaving the house every morning for the past week to train in the jungle. But he was supposed to get back early today so that we can all go to the centre together.
He didn’t get back when we expected him, and we had to leave without him to get to the venue in time for the duel. We’ve all been trying to call him, but the calls don’t get through.
Our assumption is that he decided to go to the centre directly.
“I’m sure he is already there,” she says.
He has to be. I mean, this is Levi we are talking about. He is not the kind of werewolf to get
