~ Violet ~ Violet swallowed hard. Quickly, she gathered herself and hid the stick behind her back. Luke narrowed his eyes further and took a step closer to her. “What’s that on your hand?” he asked again. “It’s nothing,” she muttered. Luke wasn’t convinced.
