Chapter 442: Plains of Mind

Lucia lay in her bed, her eyes mostly fixed on the ceiling. She wanted to refurbish her room, but so far, she had little time. In fact, she had little time for her personal things, and so the only time she had, she would simply opt for sleeping instead. After all, sleeping seemed more adequate. She needed every hour of rest she could find. The sleepy rumble moved through her mind slowly, gently coaxing her to follow it. Of course, she allowed it to guide her. The day had been bad enough, she thought. It was argument after argument after argument, and even more arguments. Her brain was simply maxed out, as she had snapped at so many people—snapped even at herself. Sometimes, she would even forget names. So she opted for sleep, even though she had mountains of paperwork to file and several memories of the establishment to clean. Perhaps it was bad, but she didn't care. She wanted to erase most of what was left behind, knowing that it was nothing more than too much weight pulling
