Amalia felt lost. The thick of the battle was too much for her mind to handle. There were snarls, growls, roars, and shouts of spells that seemed inconsistent. Of course, she had tried to fight her way through. She had swiped out a few enemies with her claws, and frankly, the mages made for perfect target practice. Most of them seemed to stand still, moving extremely slowly as they took their time casting spells. It was all inane; most of them were not like Morgana, full casters who cast their spells silently, nor like Talia, who often mumbled the words as she intended to use them. It made little sense to Amalia. She killed a few of them, most likely because if she didn't, they might have cast some of those god-awful acid-melting spells on her. She was not interested in losing her beautiful skin.
