She panted heavily for breath as they stood, watching the territories they had lost. She pointed into the distance.

My word is valued,” she said with a small smile.
“Is it really the only way?” he found himself asking. The sea had done quite a lot to him, and not that he wasn’t grateful—it was just that he was grateful to be on solid ground. He was rather content with walking if he could.
