Avario
The first thing Avario noticed when he was dropped off by the crocodile was that he had been judged based on appearances. The crocodile was the funniest creature he had ever seen, making jokes in the strangest places—half of which Avario couldn't even remember.
“Thank you,” Avario said as the crocodile waved him off.
“Do something if you want to live here,” the crocodile said, causing Avario to lean back toward the window with expectancy. “If anyone offers you anything for free, run the hell away. You can’t say no to a female here; otherwise, you might end up with your balls cut off,” the crocodile warned before zooming off.
Avario mumbled under his breath as he walked up the stairs of the establishment. It was an inn. Once he reached the counter, the man behind it, incidentally aware of his presence, greeted him.
“Hello. What can I get for you? A room?” the man asked, blinking his dark brown eyes.
