ARIEL'S POV
I slowly opened my eyes, captivated by fear, and tried to see what had happened. I saw Luke with his hand around his stomach; he was bleeding. We gazed at each other, and his eyes left mine as he fell to the floor. I couldn't take my eyes off him, and it was really painful to see him in this situation.
Celine, on the other hand, stood quiet, and I thought she was going to be happy after what she had done, but it was the opposite. Her face was not normal, and her expression was far different from happy—a shocking cast right there. I had faith that this was precisely what she desired, so why did she suddenly change her mind?
"Luke!" I screamed and ran to him. I held him tightly, assuring him that everything was going to be alright. He hadn't blacked out yet, and I yelled for someone to call an ambulance. But they all froze. Well, I couldn't actually see them. But no one said anything. Nobody uttered a word.
