Chapter Sixty Two
Genesis POV
Staying in the palace hadn't been as disastrous as I had thought it would be. The place was magical each place unique in its own quirky way. The soldiers in this part of the castle were loyal to Will and in extension me as well. The first time I had all but expected them to corner me and try to drag me out, they didn't.
I gazed around the pale ivory painted room, I laid in my bed patiently waiting, the room was dark except for the light flickers of moonlight that would occasionally seep through the clouds. It happened in the first week of arrival, when Will and I had said goodnight to each other and the servants had brought me to this very room. If I hadn't have woken up in the middle of the night I wouldn’t have seen him slowly sneak into his room and lay down on the carpet next to her. At first I shrugged it off, if anyone would understand his need for comfort and the feeling one gets when they were sucked back into a place they wouldn't want to go back to.
