Quinn hung up the phone, her hands trembling with rage. Mrs. Woodwell’s mocking voice still echoed in her ears, but Quinn had no time to dwell on the past. She needed to ensure that every piece of her plan was in perfect order, and that meant addressing the weakest link: Kimberly.

“Kimberly, come to the library immediately.”
