Chapter 33 Mrs Dank Dies
Elizabeth Coker stood beside him, sobbing lowly. Even Henry Dank, who was still admitted in the hospital, came to visit his wife. He was sitting in a wheelchair with a very ugly face.
As soon as Peter Turnah arrived, the hospital director greeted him with sincerity.
"Mr. Turnah, we are doing our best to save the patient, but the situation is not looking good at all,'' the doctor informed Peter Turnah.
"What did I tell you that other day?" Peter Turnah asked the doctor with a calm tone, even though he still sounded worried.
The doctor wiped cold sweat from his forehead.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Turnah, I neglected this matter..." he replied warily.
"How can you be so careless with human life? You turned a deaf ear to what I instructed you, and ignored the safety of the patient. I think those two nurses that were careless with the information, together with you, ought to be fired,'' Mr Turnah said sternly.
The doctor's face turned pale.
