Chapter 88: Mystery unravelled

"It's getting late; we should all start heading home," Mark said with a gleaming smile. "Will you be staying over at our house tonight?" Madison asked in a pleading tone. "Of course, I would love to, but Jacob and I still have skulls to settle," Emma said playfully. "Am I not right"? Emma asked. "Of course, you are right," Jacob replied. "Besides, if I stay with you two lovebirds, you will only make me jealous," Emma jokingly said. "It's alright, I understand," Madison replied. Emma drifted and almost fell to the ground as they approached the exit door, but Jacob immediately held her. "Are you alright?" Jacob asked as he gently held her and placed his warm hands on her forehead in order to ascertain her body temperature. "I'm fine, thank you," Emma replied, as she was now able to stand on her own. "I have been feeling a bit uneasy lately," Emma said. "You need to focus on work and your health, too," Jacob said with a worried look. "Health, they say, is wealth," Mark added
