“Are you sure about this?” Carlos asks as I heave a bag onto the back of the horse, tightening it around the animal’s body so it won’t fall off during my journey. “Not all dreams have meanings, you know. Maybe it’s just your exhaustion and intrusive thoughts making a mess in your mind.”
I know that he’s right, or at least partly so. I know that my dream could have meant nothing at all and I’m just being an idiot trying to pack things for a journey alone to find Claudia.
However, I can’t let go of the possibility that it is true, that it really does mean something. It’s better to come and see nothing rather than not come and have all sorts of stuff happening.
