Chapter 93
I woke up in cold sweat as I witnessed a nightmare in my dreams – I look around to see Terran sleeping with our daughter in his arms.
I smile gently as I admire the beauty of my newly-born daughter, she hadn’t shifted yet. It’s quite normal for newborns to shift late – some even shift after a month or a year.
I may not see her features clearly but she looks like Atlas when he was younger, she must also look like Terran then.
I pat Terran’s head as he shifts his sleeping position.
I look up to the sky – it’s still dark, perhaps I need to go back to sleep.
“What did I dream about anyway?” I ask myself as I lay back down – facing Terran and Rena. It’s awkward saying my name when I call out my daughter.
Terran sucks at naming children, if Atlas had been born here he would’ve been also named Terran.
I close my eyes in an attempt to go back to sleep – however, my brain wouldn’t let me go back to sleep. I start to overthink before sitting up and taking Rena away from Terran.
