Anna stepped out of her room and shut the door behind her only to see Davis coming out of the room right next to hers. “Don't tell me that's your room,” she said with a blank expression, her tone filled with disappointment and annoyance at the turn of events.
“Well, I didn't pick it out,” he lied with a shrug. “And is there a problem with us staying next to each other? After all, we used to sleep in the same room together.”
She sighed. “At least try to move to another room if you and Cecilia are going to be spending the night together. I don't want to hear whatever you two plan to do,” she said as she walked past him.
“What are you talking about? We're just sleeping together a—”
She turned to face him, her face void of any expression. “I don't want to hear what you have to say. As your business partner, I don't need to know about anything regarding your personal life, so save it.”
“You shouldn't have told them that,” he said softly.
“Excuse you!” She scoffed, shaking
