KADE’S POV
I didn’t think I’d ever been as nervous as I was over the next twelve hours after my decision to chase after Andrea.
I had all my necessities in my car, so I didn’t bother going home. This was mainly because of the manic situation back at the pack, and because I felt like if I got distracted for even a second, I would lose my nerve and change my mind.
Then there was the waiting game for my flight, and after that, the eight and a half hours of flight time. Every second of those moments was spent with my knees jerking with adrenaline and anticipation.
I wished I could teleport and be in front of Andrea as soon as I could, but alas.
When we finally landed, and I let out a sigh of relief, a new emotion replaced the anticipation—anxiety.
As I was driven through the streets of Rome towards the backwoods of Red Water pack’s boundary, it built up inside me, getting more intense the closer I got.
