CHAPTER 4 WHO IS MY FIANCE?

Juliet's heart clenched with a sense of foreboding as Caleb turned to her with a twisted smirk. "Oh poor thing," he did not hesitate to make a joke of her trust. As they stood outside the door, the muffled sounds of passion emanating from within sent a cold shiver down Juliet's spine. Tears welled up in her eyes as she struggled to comprehend the betrayal unfolding before her. "Aww ugh hmm yeah yeah yeah, fuck me, fuck me hard. Harder baby, harder," the woman's voice cried out from the room, each word like a dagger to Juliet's heart. "Ugh! Ugh? Fuck yeah! You know I love it," Daniel's voice echoed through the door, his words sending a wave of nausea washing over Juliet as she realized the truth of the situation. Her hands trembled as she reached out to grasp the doorknob, her heart pounding in her chest as she struggled to come to terms with the devastating reality before her. But even as tears streamed down her cheeks, a small part of her refused to believe that the man inside the room could be Daniel. "Surely this can't be happening," she whispered to herself, her voice barely above a whisper as she clung to the hope that her idealized image of Daniel remained intact. With trembling fingers, Juliet pushed the door open a crack, her breath catching in her throat as she caught a glimpse of the scene unfolding inside. Daniel stood at the edge of the bed, his shirt discarded on the floor as he moved with a frantic intensity that made Juliet's stomach churn. His cousin, Emily, lay beneath him, her body arching with pleasure as he thrust into her with a passion that Juliet had never seen before. Tears blurred Juliet's vision as she watched in silence, her heart breaking into a million pieces as she realized the depth of Daniel's betrayal. But even as her world crumbled around her, a small part of her refused to accept the truth, clinging desperately to the hope that this was all just a terrible nightmare. Caleb stood beside her, his smirk widening as he watched the scene unfold before them. "Wow, look at the passion," he taunted, his voice dripping with sarcasm. "Dan's a lucky guy. Wish I was in his place right now." Juliet's cheeks burned with humiliation at Caleb's words, her fists clenched in frustration as she struggled to contain her emotions. "How could you?" she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper as she turned to face Caleb, her eyes filled with a mixture of anger and despair. But Caleb just shrugged, his expression devoid of remorse as he regarded her with cold indifference. As Juliet's world crumbled around her, Caleb's twisted smirk only served to deepen her despair. His mocking words cut through her like a knife, leaving her feeling raw and exposed. "So this was planned by both of you," she cried out, her voice trembling with anguish as she fought to hold back the tears threatening to overwhelm her. But Caleb just laughed, his eyes gleaming with malicious amusement. "Now you're catching up," he taunted, his tone dripping with contempt. "Screw you!" Juliet yelled, her fists clenched in frustration as she struggled to contain the storm of emotions raging within her. Caleb's laughter echoed through the room, a cruel reminder of the pain and humiliation he had inflicted upon her. "You wanna do that again? I ain't tired, baby," he sneered, his words like a dagger to Juliet's heart. But then, his tone shifted, a hint of smug satisfaction creeping into his voice. "But you should be grateful to me, you know," he continued, his voice oozing with false sympathy. "I just helped you here by revealing this to you sooner. I heard that women of the Boyle family, when they get married, they can never divorce, only become widows. Wouldn't want that to happen to you." Juliet's breath caught in her throat at his words, the realization of her predicament sinking in like a lead weight. She felt trapped, suffocated by the weight of her own despair as she struggled to make sense of the chaos unraveling around her. "So this was how you and your brother planned it," she whispered, her voice barely above a whimper as tears flowed freely down her cheeks. "To use me and break me like I'm some kind of puppet, and then you probably fucked me so he could have something against me as well, especially if I decided to call it off, right?" Her words hung in the air, heavy with accusation and betrayal, but Caleb just shrugged, his expression devoid of remorse as he regarded her with cold indifference. "The only reason I agreed to fuck you was because you're dashing and sexy," he retorted, his voice laced with arrogance. "Your slim figure and your round tits attracted me, not because I agreed to make you helpless, although I did enjoy watching you squirm." Juliet's heart shattered at his callous words, the pain of his betrayal cutting deeper than she ever thought possible. She collapsed to the ground, her body wracked with sobs as she struggled to come to terms with the harsh reality of her situation. "Why?" she cried out, her voice raw with anguish as she buried her face in her hands. "Why did you do this to me?" Caleb's laughter echoed through the room, a cruel symphony that grated on Juliet's nerves as she cried out in despair. "Are you crying because you lost your virginity, or are you crying because your boyfriend betrayed you?" he taunted, his voice dripping with malice. "Stay away from me," Juliet sobbed, her voice barely audible as she pushed herself away from him, her heart aching with the weight of her own despair. But Caleb just smirked, his eyes gleaming with cruel satisfaction as he watched her crumble before him. "Welcome to the real world Juliet," he mocked, his voice laced with contempt. "Where the people you love the most are the ones who hurt you hard.. Now pick yourself up, poor thing." "I said get out!" She sits on the ground slowly. But Caleb's temper flared, his patience worn thin by Juliet's refusal to accept the truth. "Go to hell!" he spat, his voice laced with anger as he glared down at her. "I tried to explain it to you, but you just won't listen. I owe you no explanation, Juliet. None." Juliet's eyes flashed with defiance, her own temper rising to meet him as she struggled to comprehend the depth of his betrayal. "You explain to no one, huh?" she shot back, her voice trembling with anger. "Well, here you are, trying to reason with me. How convenient." Caleb's jaw clenched with frustration, his patience wearing thin as he fought to contain his rising temper. "I don't owe you anything," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "But I tried to help you, to make you see the truth. But you just won't listen, will you?" Juliet's cheeks burned with indignation, her fists clenched in frustration as she struggled to make sense of the chaos unfolding around her. "I trusted you," she whispered, her voice barely above a whisper as she struggled to hold back the tears threatening to overwhelm her. But Caleb just scoffed, his expression cold and unforgiving as he regarded her with disdain. "Trust is a luxury you can't afford, Juliet," he sneered, his voice dripping with contempt. "Especially not in a world like this. I saw a hot chick and I took my chances buh you know what fuck you." Juliet's heart clenched with pain at his words, the realization of her naivety hitting her like a ton of bricks. "I won't let you destroy me," she vowed, her voice trembling with determination as she struggled to stand tall in the face of adversity. Caleb just laughed, his laughter echoing through the room like a cruel mockery of her pain. "You're already destroyed, Julie and I'm not the one responsible. He is actually over there having a good time with his cousin while you sit like a miserable chicken. You really are pitiful," he taunted, his voice cold and unforgiving. "But hey, don't worry. You'll rebuild yourself. You always do." All of a sudden, she jolted up and grabbed his shirt, leaving Caleb confused as she kissed him.
