MAGNAR’S POV
I watched Valeria storm out of the pack house, her shoulders stiff with tension, her steps quick and purposeful. Something had clearly happened. She looked angry—no, furious. The fire in her eyes was unmistakable, even from a distance. Without thinking, I followed her.
At first, I trailed her discreetly, my curiosity outweighing my pride. But after some distance, she suddenly shifted into her wolf form and took off at a speed that caught me completely off guard. She was fast—unnaturally fast. Her wolf was enormous, easily towering over most wolves in our pack. The sight left me momentarily stunned.
I tried to keep up but quickly realized there was no way I could match her speed. Instead, I mind-linked my men, ordering them to stay alert. “Don’t let anyone cross the pack boundaries. Valeria’s out running, and I want her safe.”
The truth was, I didn’t know why I felt the need to report her movements. But there was something about seeing her like that, so powerful and untamed
