DIMITRI’S POV 6 MONTHS LATER I leaned back in my chair, my eyes fixed on the monitors in front of me. The flickering images from the CCTV cameras displayed the mundane routine of the pack—warriors sparring, workers bustling about, and slaves completing their assigned chores. None of them had any idea they were being watched so closely. I preferred it that way.
