Chapter 137: YOU ARE NO DIFFERENT
At first, Archer wasn’t entirely sure if it was really Edward Xina had seen. After all, many vampires shared the physical characteristics Xina described. However, there weren’t many supernatural beings with golden eyes, and those eyes were unforgettable.
Archer, tasked with gathering information by Gary, was hesitant to jump to conclusions. He pulled up a picture of Edward, more out of routine than actual expectation. He knew it was possible, but still, he wasn’t prepared for the confirmation Xina might give.
"Take a look at this," Archer said, zooming in on a particular figure in the picture. "Is this the man you saw?"
Xina's eyes widened as she looked at the image, her breath catching. Recognition was immediate. "Yes," she whispered, her voice laced with certainty. She moved closer, staring at the picture more intently, the face of the man burned into her memory. "How do you know him? Who is he?"
"Edward Alderant," Archer responded with a deep frown. I
