CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SIX – WATCHING THEIR MOVES
The next morning, Miguel woke up early, determined to put their new strategy into action. He kissed a still-sleeping Karina on the forehead before heading to the office.
As he walked into the building, he overheard two employees whispering in the lobby.
"Did you hear? Hartman's planning to make a move on our biggest client," one of them said.
Miguel's steps faltered for a moment, but he steeled himself and continued to his office. He had barely sat down when Tom burst in.
"Miguel, we've got a problem," Tom said, his face pale. "Hartman's team has reached out to GlobalTech. They're considering pulling their contract with us."
Miguel felt his stomach drop. GlobalTech was their largest client, accounting for nearly 30% of their annual revenue. Losing them would be catastrophic.
"Get me on the phone with GlobalTech's CEO," Miguel ordered. "And where's Karina? I need her input on this."
