CHAPTER THIRTY-ONE LOOSE ENDS
As Luke sat alone in his office, his mind buzzing with frustration and anger, he couldn't shake the feeling of betrayal that gnawed at his conscience. He had trusted his uncle with the knowledge of his relationship with Hana, never expecting that he would betray that trust by sharing it with his mother.
With a heavy sigh, Luke reached for his phone and dialed his uncle's number, his fingers tapping impatiently against the smooth surface of the device as he waited for him to pick it up. After several rings, his uncle's voice crackled through the line, his tone curt and businesslike.
"Luke, to what do I owe the pleasure?" his uncle said, his voice laced with a hint of amusement.
Luke gritted his teeth in frustration at his uncle's nonchalant tone, his anger simmering just beneath the surface.
"We need to talk," he said tersely, There was a brief pause on the other end of the line, followed by a sigh of resignation.
