Kevin caught up with her from behind. Then, they went to collect the movie tickets together.
"Do you really want to get angry at me for this?" Kevin sounded pitiful and said, "You hardly ever ask me out for dinner and a movie. Do we really need to argue?"
"Who wants to argue with you?" Tianna said angrily. She glared at Kevin and turned away to the other side, unwilling to look at him.
Kevin was patient. He went in front of Tianna and coaxed her, "Look, you can buy me a drink. I want to drink that..."
Kevin pointed to the advertisements next to them, although he didn't even know what was advertised on them. He just wanted Tianna to get over it.
It was rare for them to go on a date. He was reluctant to quarrel with Tianna. Wasn't that a waste of an opportunity?
"That's settled then. I'll buy the drinks," Tianna said, strictly.
"Okay, it's on you."
Kevin ordered two cups and handed one to Tianna. He said shamelessly, "Girlfriend, you pay for it, okay? I didn't bring any money out today."
