Roxanne stared at the shard of glass by her feet. Her face etched into a frown as her eyes roamed the countless sharp fragments of the shattered glass.
“Oh no!” She finally spoke and when she glanced in Lance’s direction, he was simply watching her with a blank expression.
Roxanne took this as his usual stoic expression, unaware of the joyous emotion he was feeling after seeing her on her feet.
