As night fell, Nina took the prenatal vitamins before drifting off to sleep. She had no idea that the search at the site of her disappearance had gone on for hours.
Shane stood on the rocky shoreline—the same place where she had been tied up by two men earlier. His dark, piercing gaze locked onto the ocean, and it was so chilling that no one dared to meet his eyes.
Numerous boats were out at sea, scouring the waters in the area, yet nothing had been found so far. No one dared to stop without his command. Even as night fell, the search went on, but they still came up empty.
With each passing moment, Shane's expression grew darker. "Keep looking," he said coldly. "I refuse to believe she can't be found."
