"Wow," Lyla squealed, her voice full of excitement. "Eve, they're so cute—I'm melting!"
Her excitement made me feel better too. After about 20 minutes, the dolphins started to leave, and the pink dolphins still hadn't shown up.
Lyla looked a little disappointed, but I thought it was amazing. We were intruding on their space, after all.
Antoine came over to tease Lyla, and I noticed there was something a bit odd about them. I decided to step away and went to get some juice from the table.
Just as I reached for a glass, Ethan grabbed my wrist. I looked up, and he pointed toward the horizon where the sun was coming up. I looked over and saw a pink dolphin swimming on the surface of the water.
I gasped and covered my mouth in surprise. Ethan leaned in and asked, "Isn't it beautiful?"
I nodded, and he whispered, "It has a name."
I turned to look at Ethan, and he smiled. "It's Cinnamon Roll."
Cinnamon Roll. The name brought back a memory. Back in sophomore year, I had stayed close
