On the way back, Gordon saw that Mayra would frown whenever the car started and stopped. She really was feeling sick, so he reached out and pulled her close.
His family owned an apothecary, and he dabbled in medicine. He massaged an acupoint on Mayra's hand. "Do you feel better?"
