Chapter 90: Argument
Viennel and Henry stayed far behind Curtis and his group. Henry knew where his mom was, and Curtis was there to see her, so they didn't need to be too close—just get to the same destination.
Henry’s mom was a supervisor and had her own office on the second floor of the factory, separate from the common workers' break area.
Curtis and his men took the elevator, but Viennel and Henry chose the stairs to better observe the personnel distribution. If Curtis's men were guarding the elevator, Viennel would be caught immediately upon exiting.
Henry was chubby, and the stairs were a struggle for him, but he didn't complain when Viennel chose this route.
When they reached the second floor, Viennel's caution proved correct. The hallway had at least five guards—one at the elevator, two patrolling the stairs, and two at the office door. If they had taken the elevator, they would have been caught right away.
