"You're becoming quite skilled at lying with your eyes open," Viennel chuckled, saying, "Morris, there are so many people here, you can ask anyone to see who caused trouble first."
Just as Morris was about to speak, Lousa interrupted, "Brother Morris, don't you believe me? How could I go looking for trouble with her?"
Distracted by her, Morris didn't feel like asking anymore. He disliked Viennel, so he didn't want to listen to her nonsense.
"Alright, stop trying to sow discord between us," Morris glared at Viennel. "Viennel, we have no relationship anymore. You shouldn't appear in front of me or Lousa anymore."
"Morris, do you really think highly of yourself?" Viennel retorted. "Why should I listen to you? Now I am a free person, and you have no authority to command me. Instead of lecturing me, I think you have more important things to do, like raising a million in cash."
Morris's face turned ugly. "This is none of your concern!"
