Chapter 27
I slapped one of the thugs hard on the face and did the same to the other two thugs.
Their eyes were raging with wrath, but they dared not fight back.
“Get lost!” My palms were numb from slapping them. I ordered those scumbags to leave immediately.
The parking lot quickly returned to silence. The general manager of the hotel invited me to have a cup of tea, but I wasn’t interested in drinking tea with a stranger in the middle of the night, so I refused.
Zachary was completely stunned. He still has yet to recover from seeing me slap the thugs.
“Let’s go. I’ll take you to the hospital.” I took Zachary’s hand and led him outside the parking lot, where my car was parked.
“Zena, I’ll go by myself,” Zachary said anxiously.
“Stop making a fuss.” I glared at him.
