Chapter 73 - The Time Traveler

Jake and Ella followed the impostor Luna Katherine with caution as they made their way through the thick forest, keeping their distance. There were very few sounds in the forest, just the crunch of leaves beneath your feet and the odd rustle of trees when the wind moved through. Their hearts hammered together, propelling them onward with a mix of terror and resolve. They knew it was imperative to find out whatever the imposter was up to, even if they had no idea what they may find. With her hands moving in an odd, rhythmic manner on the ground, they observed the woman kneeling down from the shadows. Ella's breath froze in her throat as a faint glimmer appeared on the earth. “We have to do something Jake” “Woman, this is how it was during the time travel, you couldn't just stay still and watch things unfold” “Fine, I'll go myself” However, before she could move, something started to shimmer in the air, and someone emerged from the shadows, joining the imposter.
