JAVION’S POV
The maniac was laughing and the more I looked at him, the angrier I was becoming. I grabbed Daphne’s neck and looked to see if she was alright and after I had confirmed she was, I stood up and saw that even Miranda did not make a move to go close to him.
I would have thought they would have created a kind of bond that would make them inseparable.
“See what I told you about him, he would kill you if he was gone the chance to.” He got up as the loud sound of his bones resetting filled the air.
I helped Daphne up. “Why did you come to him?”
“You used to say how knowledgeable he was and I thought he would be able to give us answers.”
“You could have told me! What if he hurt you?”
She scoffed but kept her gaze on Gerard who was now laughing his silly maniacal laugh again. How could his other children even stand him all these years?
