DAPHNE'S POV
I stood outside my room, my heart racing as I tried to figure out how to warn Luca and Enzo. They needed to know about Xander's trap before it was too late.
The thought of them walking straight into danger made me shiver. I had to get a message to them somehow, but how?
The first thing that came to mind was to sneak out and find a way to contact them. I knew it was risky, but staying here felt even riskier. I glanced around, looking for any way to slip past the guards. The darkness of the night was my ally, but the cold, creeping feeling in my chest reminded me of the danger I was facing.
I started moving quietly, careful to avoid any patrols. My mind raced as I thought of possible ways to get the message across. I could try to find a messenger or a way to send a signal. My thoughts were a tangled mess of ideas and fears.
