The sound of the slap echoed around the room, and Carla's head snapped to the side. She looked at Nolan in shock, her cheek red from the blow.  “You're a traitor and a liar. You've betrayed my trust, and you've hurt Layla. I will never forgive you for that. You're a disgrace to this kingdom. You really disappointed me! “ Nolan yelled at her.
