CHAPTER 100
"Nice show, Jessica. Nice show." Kenzie commented sarcastically with a confident smirk and poise, clapping her hands together.
"Kenzie," I whispered to myself and a small smile broke from my face. My insides settled in relief and my eyes travelled to my father who looked utterly confused and probably wondering how she got in and what she was up to.
"You know, it is so easy to lie than say the truth. It is so easy to cook up something for the world to see and digest even if...that is not what it truly is." She played with a tendril of her hair. "Just as an all-time famous writer: Williams Shakespeare once wrote in his book...all the world is a stage and all the men and women merely players."
Jessica gritted her teeth and her nose flared from beside me.
"Anyway, let's cut to the chase. Who wants to hear some really bad news?"
Silence greeted her question and she chuckled.
