CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND ELEVEN – A GOOD LOCATION
Zoe pulled out her phone. "We need to start looking at locations. Any ideas?"
"I was thinking Brooklyn," Joan said. "It's up-and-coming, but still affordable. And there's a real need for mental health services in some of those neighborhoods."
They spent the next hour hunched over Zoe's phone, scrolling through real estate listings and debating the merits of different areas.
"Ooh, what about this one?" Zoe pointed to a listing for a renovated brownstone. "It's got character, and look at all that space!"
Joan peered at the screen. "It's perfect! Make a note of that one. We should definitely check it out in person."
As the afternoon wore on, they moved from location scouting to brainstorming services.
"Obviously, we'll offer individual therapy," Joan said, jotting down notes. "But what about group sessions?"
Zoe nodded enthusiastically. "Definitely. And we could do workshops too. Stress management, mindfulness training..."
