"Three weeks ago, I placed the documents on your desk and sent you numerous emails," she stated calmly.
He declared, "I want to see them." "Please bring them to me at my house."

With a groan, he combed through his hair. Of course, she was correct. When it came to his former spouse, he had a blind spot the size of Western Australia. He had effectively hidden the presence of the emails and the papers, so he didn't even recall seeing the packet containing them. However, he was now unable to ignore reality.
