I look at Kyle who is uncomfortably shifting in his seat, not knowing how to endure this torture because I know he doesn’t want to be the alpha of this pack. It isn’t home to him and I’m afraid if this place doesn’t feel like home yet, it may never calm his wolf down. I may have uprooted my and my children’s lives for nothing after all.
