I watched as the rogue pack ran onto our land. The number of them was underwhelming. I didn’t imagine that many rogues could live together in a setting, to be honest.
Being rogue meant you didn’t like order. You didn’t want an alpha or a ruler. It meant you were an outcast in the werewolf community because you couldn’t take orders.
There couldn’t be too many of those in one place.
It wasn’t the numbers but the abilities that scared me. Not that I was scared. I felt full of adrenaline. I’d trained and practiced for so many years for this day.
