Chapter Sixty-Two - Chase
I sipped my beer and looked up at the moon. The night had been one we all needed. Some time to not think about the rogues. It was a little reckless to host it, but I believed our pack needed a true night of rest.
We could worry about our problems tomorrow because they’d still be there waiting for us.
“Where did your Luna go?” Patch asked, tipping back his beer bottle.
“The bathroom, remember.”
He glanced over at the back door. “That was a while ago. I hope she’s okay.”
I looked over at him. Willow was a grown woman. Should could make it to the bathroom and back without my help.

Patch slid his tongue over his teeth and leaned in close to me. “Read the note while she’s gone.”
