"There's nothing left for us to talk about. I've written everything in that letter. Let's part ways amicably," Wendy said.
Over the years, she had come to understand Aiken very well. She knew the kind of man he was when it came to relationships.
When he sought out Zera, it became clear that in his heart, she was dispensable—someone who no longer needed a place in his life. He had grown tired of her.
